About this Cook
I am 26 and I am still a student, I like to cook and I like this site better than myspace!
My favorite things to cook
my favorite thing to cook is probably soup. (it's kinda hard to screw up!) I also like to cook sweet treats.
My cooking tragedies
I tried to make Denises' peanut chicken stir-fry (or something like that) and I had bought all the ingredients and my family was excited to try it and it smelled so good! I thought I would add a little cornstarch to thicken the sauce, but I grabbed the wrong thing! Instead I added baking powder! The once good food turned green and was too salty to eat. It was a terrible tragedy!

Corn and Black Bean Salad
Very Good! We put the bean salad in soft tortillas w/ some pepperjack cheese and salsa. We then warmed them on a skillet (like a stuffed grilled burrito)

Chicken Tortellini Soup With Zucchini and Tomatoes
Loved it! The tortellini is something different from everyday soups. I think I might have added a few more veggies and fresh spices, but it made it even better!

Mom's Chocolate Chip Cookies
I made 2 different kinds. one with vanilla pudding w/ semi sweet chocolate chips, and the other using chocolate pudding w/ white chocolate chips. Both turned out fantastic very soft.
