Good flavor, but texture not fudge-like. Will make again but with less sugar.

Frosted Banana Bars

Fantastic recipe. Used cream cheese icing from this site & they were perfect! My boyfriend also likes these with powdered sugar on top instead of icing.

Strawberry Banana Split Cake

Reviewed: May 30, 2005
Just seems like something is missing... The powdered sugar layer was way too sweet. Maybe better with a cream cheese or pudding mixture.

Mom's Mozzarella Chicken for Drew

Reviewed: May 30, 2005
This is great! It looks and tastes like you spent hours preparing it, but it's so simple. I have also dipped the chicken breasts in egg & seasoned breadcrumbs before browning & my son like it even better that way. This is a new family favorite.

Great recipe. Not at all greasy like you might expect. Loved the little extra zing from the vinegar.

I didn't change a thing and this was the perfect peach pie. I followed another reviewer's advice and left the pie in the cooling oven and the texture was just right.

Basic Flaky Pie Crust

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Easiest pie crust ever! I used butter flavored Crisco, but didn't take the time to chill it. The dough was easy to work with and rolled out very well. It was very flaky and tasted great!

Blueberry Cream Muffins

Sorry, but we did not care for these at all. I followed the recipe exactly... the texture was nothing like a muffin should be & I didn't like the taste.

Oven Fried Chicken III

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
This was good, but not great. Used a wire rack, but still not crispy enough for my family's taste. Flavor was good and it was super easy.

Quick Chicken Zingarella

Very tasty..... super quick and easy. I couldn't find the specific peppers listed at my small town grocery, but used sweet cherry peppers which were still pretty spicy. Whole family enjoyed this.

Cheesy Italian Tortellini

Reviewed: Oct. 28, 2009
This dish gets 5 stars for easy preparation, but 4 stars for taste. My husband and I thought it was good, and my 13 year old son loved it. Very very easy to prepare. Add a salad and bread and you're set to go. I really don't think this needs to cook anywhere close to 7 hours though.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

I replaced the margarine with 1/4 cup of water and cooked on low for 4 hours, then added cream cheese and soup and cooked for another hour. This is a super easy, very tasty meal for a busy family. My husband and son both really enjoy it.

This dish is awesome! Used 1/4 cup butter (not margarine) and added 1/2 cup white wine. Also doubled the lemon juice and added a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and fresh ground black pepper. Delish!
