Creamy Banana Bread

Yum! It is like banana bread flavored coffee cake! The cinnamon swirl is so good! My husband loved this. It froze well too! Added bonus to keep one in the freezer for later!

Good pie! Need to reduce the sugar to maybe a 1/4 cup. You don't need more than that. Also added some cinnamon and 2 T of cornstarch. The pie set up nicely in the fridge but prior to that it was very runny. My husband loved this!

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Tasty! Super easy to throw together. I also used blackberries instead of raspberries since they looked better, also I only had light sour cream and it worked just fine. Baked it for only 28 minutes and it was done, used an 8 1/2 inch pan since that is what I had. Used chocolate instead of the glaze since i was using this for dessert. Perfect dessert, not too heavy but very yummy!

Great Pumpkin Dessert

Wow, talk about a great fall dessert! I used a scant cup of sugar based on reviews of the sweetness and I used only a 1/2 cup of melted butter (just seemed like to much). I also had to make my own pumpkin pie spice and I used pecans instead of walnuts. This was a big hit with some carmel cheesecake icecream on the side! Everyone loved it!

Mahogany Chicken Wings

These were great! I did change things up a bit. I used fresh grated ginger and garlic chili sauce. I also marinated chicken legs (did not like the look of the wings at the store) over night. Then I cooked and thickened the marinade and brushed over the legs during cooking. Nice and sticky and yummy! Thanks for the great recipe!

Easy, Speedy Corn Muffins

This is a new favorite! Talk about easy and yummy! I did add an extra tablespoon of brown sugar. I like my corn muffins a bit sweet. They were so moist! Thanks for the recipe!

Cheesy Potato Salad

Good salad. I cut down on the sugar and added extra vinegar. I don't like my potato salad too sweet. This was really good and I used real bacon that I cooked and crumbled. Everyone really liked this one!

Summer Corn Salad with Asparagus

Asiago Hash Browns

I thought this was a good base recipe. I made quite a few changes since I like a bit more color and flavor in my hash browns. I sauteed the onions in the butter and added chopped red bell pepper and a couple cloves of garlic. I also cut down the amount of cream to less then half. It was pretty good with these changes.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is very good. I put it in my mini crock pot and the longer it sits the better the flavor. I do not like canned chicken but this works great with cut up leftover chicken breasts. Also I did it without the chedder cheese since it did not really need it and I have never had chicken wings with cheese! Yummy!

Italian Pork Tenderloin

I have to admit that I made a few changes to this one. I added two cloves of chopped garlic, subsitiuted basil for the sage (that is what I had)and I did not slice the pork like the pic. here on the site shows. I cut them into thin ribbon strips. I also added about a 1/4 cup of white wine before adding the stock and cream. I made a bit extra sauce and served it over fettuccini. My husband loves this one!

Corn and Crab Bisque

Blue Cheese Potato Salad

Very good! Nice change to regular potato salad. I added a bit extra blue cheese and plenty of salt and pepper. Great for cookouts since there is no mayo!

Asian Coleslaw

This is the best new coleslaw recipe I have tried! Got rave reviews from everyone! Everyone had more than one helping. Very flavorfull and different. My husband is the only one that that it had "too much going on"! Will make all summer long!
