Creamed Eggs on Toast

Havent tried this particular version of creamed eggs, but will make it for a brunch with shrimp and chopped asparagus mixed in served over toasted english mufffins with some cheese and paptika sprinkled on top, a pass in the broiler, sparkling wine and fresh fruit on the side. I could see this recipe going many different directions with different meats and vegs. mixed in like cubes of ham and peas or bacon and tomatos etc. Roger

Creamy Summer Crab Dip

kind of bland on first go round but i like the idea of the lighter mayo, cream cheese and sour cream. after making and tasting it, i added Old Bay Seasoning, chopped up dill pickle (or dill relish), chopped up fire roasted red peppers (the kind in a jar), finely chopped celery and hot sauce. Went through half a sleeve of ritz crackers but turned out great. next time i'll add salad shrimp and chopped hard boiled eggs.

Chicken Milano

used to make something like this but added a splash of Pernod, sounds goofy but that splash of anise flavor was really different and served w. rice pilaf and cold lemon souffles for dessert.

Easy Beer Bread Mix

Best beer bread I've ever made. More herbs wouldn't hurt the next time but the texture was much better than usual. It wasn't crumbly and dry like most BB's (probably because of the melted butter. The recipe opens up possiblities such as adding shredded cheddar and sun dried tomatoes to the batter or elimating the herbs altogether and throwing in dried cranberries, mixed chopped dried fruits or dates. Would be great toasted. The herb version would make an easy appetizer cut in squares and toasted then topped w. creamed cheese and Jalapeno jelly or whatever. thanks for the recipe, will make it often

a dash of worchestershire, hot red pepper flakes and celery salt help this recipe. To squeeze dry thawed spinach, use your potato ricer.

Salmon in Creamy Silk Sauce

The sauce and herbs sound like a great combonation, but the cooking technique is a mystery. How do you put a long package of parchament wrapped salmon in a double boiler. Can you bake this on a cookie sheet?
