Grilled Cheese Sandwich
There's NOTHING better than grilled cheese! My preference is to use any good quality bread, some combination of cheddar, swiss, provolone and muenster cheese. Muenster and swiss go really well on rye. Also, I use real butter whenever possible. It adds a richness of flavor and seems to get more crisp than margarine. I'm really anxious to try the egg batter idea, though! (Fat? Bah!) :)

Paige's Feta Slaw
Delicious! I, too, have been looking for a non-sweet cabbage salad and this fits the bill perfectly. I used white wine vinegar and left out the water completely. I also added some shredded carrots and a thinly sliced fresh green chile (anaheim or similar), which added a nice dimension to the flavor. Oh, and I'll put crumbled feta on anything, so this really appealed to me. :)

Mexican Bean Pie
Fabulous! Gooey & sinful...I think my boyfriend died & went to heaven. I did ommit the olives and used half cheddar and half pepper jack.
