I love to bake almost any kind of dessert. I also love to make homemade spaghetti sauce and other down home goodies. I'm not a fancy cook.

My cooking tragedies
I once baked a cake calling for self rising flour. Thinking that it must be the same as regular flour, I proceeded as normal. My cakes were maybe an inch thick when baked and horrible tasting! My mom explained to me what self rising flour was! Oh well, you live and you learn!

Cheese's Baked Macaroni and Cheese
I should have listened to my instincts and not added the bread crumbs. One cup is entirely too much! It gave it the texture of sand. Maybe if you left them off it would be okay. I can't speak to the complaints about the onions that other reviewers mentioned because I left them out believing that onions don't belong in mac and cheese. Very disappointed especially when the photo looks so good.

Clemons Family Bean Dip
I have to give this a lower rating because of what the recipe claims to be which is a "bean" dip. Overall, it is a good dip but I couldn't taste the beans in the dip at all. My husband really, really loves beans and he said the same thing. I would double the beans next time.

Sausage Balls
These are really good, my only issue was that 4 cups was too much cheese. I didn't think it was a taste issue but an incorporation issue. I combine these as if I'm making a meatball mixture and the 4 cups of cheese just didn't incorporate well. I would probably use 3 1/2 cups the next time.
