Roast Pumpkin and Feta Risotto

Wow! This was absolutely delicious and so beautiful to present as well. (I served it in a pumpkin half I had hollowed out). It was a very unexpected combination. I added sauteed red bell peppers to add even more taste and color.

Special Deviled Eggs

Wow! The horseradish really makes the eggs delicious! I used green onion instead of just onion, added a dash of worchestershier sauce, and left out the pickle relish all together. They were the bet deviled eggs I've ever had.Thanks for the recipe!

Candied Sweet Potatoes

Since, I've become the primary holiday cook in my family, I've been trying and trying to find a sweet potato recipe that will satisfy everyone. I think I've finally found it. :) As others have suggested, I used less butter(instead of margarine) and sugar, and I also added ginger along with the other spices. This recipe is amazingly easy and tastes delicious. It's perfect for large holiday meals because the time and temperature it cooks at don't have to be exact. Thanks!

Asparagus Quiche

A wonderful recipe! I didn't use bacon, added cooked onions instead. Also, when I make quiche I like to line the bottom and sides of the crust with the cheese instead of mixing it in or putting it on top. I like the texture this gives it. Finally, I used deep dish pie crusts, so I found it was necessary to add an etra egg and 1/3 cup half and half.

French Onion Soup with Celeriac

I love this soup and the celeriac really makes it something different! I use only beef broth and put fresh parsley in. I also cut the onions into long thin strips before sauteing which gives the soup a great texture! This has become my standard soup to make when someone's sick, since the garlic (I put a whole head in) and onions make great immune boosters!

Mini Frittatas

This recipe is a HUGE hit with our family. Everyone loves when I make these. I usually use chedder and blue cheese (I don't care for ricotta) and I add salsa and garlic into the mix. Sounds a little odd but it comes out tasting delicious!

Whipped Carrots And Parsnips

A little bland and lacking in texture. I added ginger and we ate it with bagel chips. Otherwise it was good and very healthy. :)
