Glazed Apple Cookies

Reviewed: May 1, 2006
very good cookies! the icing is the perfect finish to these soft, spicy cookies. I used 2 eggs, 2 cups grated apple, 1/2 tsp. baking soda,1/2 tsp. baking powder, and butter instead of shortening. I also put cinnamon in the icing. soooooooooo delicious!

Four Spice Crackles

Reviewed: Apr. 1, 2006
wonderful!! I made a few small changes in the recipe. I used 1 tsp. ginger, and more cinnamon and cloves, and NO nutmeg. I also cut the flour to 2 1/4 cups. these cookies are crispy on the outside and soft and chewy inside. you don't want to stop eating these!! next time I will try more ginger, think it would be just as yummy.

Outstanding, a real yummy roll. Will make again and again, thank you so much, moist, tasty. the best roll I have had in ages! I like the fact it uses milk and not water and honey instead of sugar.

Best Bread Machine Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2006
I have an older bread machine that makes one pound loaves, so I was a bit apprehensive about putting three cups of flour. The flour did spill over a bit while it was mixing but it rose and baked beautifully! My new favourite! WONDERFUL!

Extreme Banana Nut Bread 'EBNB'

I made half of this recipe, it is excellent in taste and appearance. I added 2 big spoons of cinnamon, and it came out of the oven a beautiful rich, dark brown in color.Next time I will use chocolate chips instead of nuts.

Easy Morning Glory Muffins

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2006
I was searching for a different muffin recipe when I decided to try these.I had some dry cranberries I wanted to use up, so I figured ,try this muffin recipe. I had seen morning glory muffin recipes on several cooking websites, but the ingredients always" turned me off." I did make some changes to this recipe. First no carrots, that is just so unappealing in this home. I cut the oil down to 2/3 cup, and added two grated apples instead of the one. Threw in extra dry cranberries, doubled the cinnamon, as we love it, and omitted the nuts. The batch made 25 muffins, and they are just delicious! The smell and appearance of these muffins is"top notch." They bake up perfectly! soooooo goood!!!

Cheese Ring

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2006
This is very good. I made this for a church function and it is easy and looks like you really fussed over it, when it is all nicely displayed on a pretty plate or platter. The flavor combo is sooooooo yummy! I did not have a ring mold, so used a bundt cake pan and it worked fine.I also used gouda cheese as I had a pound of that in the fridge. I mixed the few leftovers together and we ate it the next day,on crackers, so good.

Sour Cream Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2007
If I could have given these muffins 10 stars I would have, easily. I was looking for a quick and easy recipe to use up some strawberry yogurt and a few strawberries in my fridge. Simply delicious. I used the yogurt in place of the sour cream and strawberries instead of blueberries. I will be making this recipe a lot. sooooo good!!WOW!

This is so good and the sauce is really delicious. Who would ever have thought that pizza sauce and apple jelly could taste so wonderful.I did not add any italian seasoning, the sause I bought was seasoned with basil and garlic, and that was just fine. Try this one, it is so yummy! Thankyou for a great sauce recipe.

Wonderful! I used 21/2 tsp. yeast, and did not put the topping on before baking. I did brush the buns with butter after they came out of the oven. Soft and tasty and the bottoms have a little crunch to them. Delicious!
