Alaska Salmon Bake with Pecan Crunch Coating

This dish blends the flavors of sweet and crunchy and salty. If you don't like sweet then use a tangy mustard as recommended by Caroline C. It is a rich dish and would go well with a simple green vegetable like haricot verts or asparagus. My husband said it was the best salmon he had ever tasted and he is from Louisiana where food the food is incredible!

Baked Tortilla Chips

This was a very good and fast recipe. I used an additional tablespoon of lime juice and also used olive oil. I basted the chips with a pastry brush because I didn't have mister in the house. I also cut the salt to 1/2 teaspoon. I am thinking that the person who burnt their chips did not use enough oil and lime juice. I served with some fresh guacamole, it was excellent! It does indeed satisfy the salty, crunchy cravings.
