About this Cook
I have lived in many different places in the world and been influenced by there cultures and traditions. These influences have made me unafraid to experement in my cooking. I love trying new things.
My favorite things to cook
I love to make Italian food. I love the falvors and smells that go with home made pasta and sauce and the wine and bread!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking tradition is making cookies and breads and candy's during the holidays. My mom did it with my sister and I. I love doing it with my son now!
My cooking triumphs
I would like to think that every meal I make is better than the one before, but...the one that really made me proud was when some one asked if they could employ me to cater her wedding. That was such a special day for her and she thought I was good enough!
My cooking tragedies
My first Thanksgiving...I thought I had defrosted the Turkey, but my fridge must have been to cold. It wasn't all the way defrosted and it took 13 hours to cook a 13 lbs. turkey! We had to eat everything else for dinner...later that evening we ate the Turkey!
