Roast Chicken with Rosemary

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2001
This was excellent. It was easy to prepare, taked wonderful, and made a very lovely presentation over garlic mushroom rice pilaf. Once the chicken was done, I did squeeze 1 lemon over the top. Added a nice citron flavor. I will be making this again.

Chicken Tortilla Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2000
This was really good. I spiced it up a little by adding more chili powder and some hot pepper sauce. I garnished with diced avacado's, jack cheese, and green onions. Didn't use hominy but added more black beans. I received rave reviews!

Party Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2000
Not your average spud dish. VERY GOOD. However, here in Texas, 9 potatoes will not fit in a 2 quart cassarole dish!

Broccoli Rice Casserole

I love it. This is much better than those recipes that call for "cheese-whiz." I got rave reviews. It's all gone!

Homestyle Turkey, the Michigander Way

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2000
This is the best turkey that I have ever prepared. However, if I had cooked it for 4-5 hours, it would have been extremely over done! I recommend using a meat thermometer to check for doneness. My turkey was done after 2 hours...and very delicious.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Reviewed: Aug. 20, 2000
Amazing! I can't wait to make this for company. After the buns were toasted, I laid the meat on the bottom half of the bun then covered it with provalone cheese. Then I put it back in the oven for about 2 minutes, until the cheese was melted. C'est tres bien! Merci!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2000
This was so easy to make and turned out so good. I was actually suprised how good it was. It's like taking a big, over stuffed burrito and enjoying it with out all the mess. My husband loved it! I ended up using about 12 oz. of cheese.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Aug. 13, 2000
I don't want to sound repetitive, but this was the best roast that I have ever made. Half way through cooking, I added baby carrots, diced celery, and a whole onion. Then towards the end, I added a can of cream of celery soup in order to have enough gravy to boil some golded potatoes in. Everthing was wonderful, but the meat, by far, was amazing!

Beef and Noodle Bake

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2000
This was very easy and very good. I didn't find it dull in the very least as some of the prior comments indicated. If I may, I would like to make a few suggestions: 1)While the ground beef is browning, season with salt, pepper, and some of your favorite seasonings. 2) Slice the velveta yourself as opposed to buying any pre-sliced cheese. 3) Use a fine quality of spaghetti sauce, (ie: I always go for something imported. You will pay a little more, but it is well worth it.) Anyway, this turned out wonderful, my family raved, and it was excellent with garlic bread.

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Jul. 27, 2000
Very good. My husband loved it. But I think that I used ham slices that were a little too thick. Next time I will use thin slices. But other than that it was very good. I also topped the chicken with a little butter and they were very moist.

Ground Beef Shepherd's Pie

This was a very nice change from the norm---which is usually chicken. My husband really enjoyed this. I used green beans, yellow corn, and tomato's. Very good.

Lover's Beef Burgundy Filet

Reviewed: Jun. 7, 2000
This isn't the easiest nor the quickest way that I have ever prepared to grill steaks. However, I am rating a 5 in all catagories simply because at the end it is all worth it. EXCELLENT!
