Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jul. 10, 2014
Awesome flavor! I love the mixture of sweet with the bit of spice from the ginger. I also halved the recipe, but used double the amount of ginger, added a dollop of maple syrup and also added fresh chopped tarragon and rosemary. My cut down version called for 1/3 of a cup of water but I only used 1 tbsp. I'm going to try this with chicken and salmon, too!

Baked Salmon Fillets Dijon

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2013
Instead of Dijon, I used whole grain mustard (just a thin layer). I only sprinkled on enough bread crumbs to cover the fillets, added a bit of tarragon and used a drizzle of olive oil in place of the butter. Delish!!

Utokia's Ginger Shrimp and Broccoli with Garlic

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2013
Very bland. I doubled the liquid and added water as recommended by other reviewers. I also added a tablespoon of hoisin sauce. I had to add more soy sauce and hoisin after cooking. Also, it took a bit more than 15 minutes to get all the shrimp cooked. Glad I used foil instead of parchment paper and no fussy crimping!!

Savory Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2013
I wasn't that impressed. It needs something else. I used cream of broccoli soup and added parsley and tarragon at the end of cooking, but I found it a little bland.

Easy Marinated Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2013
Made this last night and it turned out very tasty! I didn't have honey dijon mustard so I used 1 tbsp each of honey, dijon mustard and grainy dijon mustard. After taking the roast out of the oven, I added a little more honey to the remaining marinade and a little cornstarch and used it as a sauce over the meat. I also usually don't add salt because I use salt on the cutting board when chopping or mincing garlic.

Spicy Garlic Salmon

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2013
I found this quite good, but since I never achieved the "paste" stage of the recipe (did anyone?), I added some honey and brown sugar. It was slightly sweet but still with a bit of bite!

Fluffy Pancakes

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2013
This is a great recipe!! Going by the reviewer's comments, I also used lemon juice instead of vinegar. As far as this serving four, they must be having a lot to go with it because just two of us clean up the whole batch!!!
