About this Cook
I'm a Psychology major at the University of Western Ontario. When I moved from home to go to university I had to pick up cooking, and it turns out that I really enjoyed it. No microwaved macaroni and cheese for this university student!
My favorite things to cook
Big stir-frys with tons of ingredients, gourmet hamburgers on the grill, and desserts.
My cooking triumphs
Pulling off a birthday dinner for my friend consisting of a Baby Spinach salad, amazing BBQ'd ribs, and a delicious Chocolate Cheesecake, all with full plated presentations and garnishes.
My cooking tragedies
My first attempt at baking alone while young: misread the ingredients and used half a cup of baking powder in my brownies. I didn't know what baking powder did, but I sure learned quick once they were in the oven....

Strawberries Flambeed in Vodka with Hot Ice Cream
A very very different taste. But a very very good one! The ice cream had a definite kick to it, but it wasn't too intense. I also added some raspberries. I'll make it again, but definitely make sure everyone eating it enjoys spiciness.

Orange Chicken Stir Fry
This tasted great! I added some broccoli, green peppers, portabello mushrooms and sesame seeds to the stir-fry to make it a full meal. Delicious!
