Blonde Brownies IV

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2013
This recipe is awful, I wish I had read these reviews before I attempted it. The dough was entirely too sticky so I tried adding a little bit of milk. I had wanted to layer cherries in the middle but there was barely enough dough to cover the bottom of the pan, let alone save any for a top layer. 25 minutes in the center's barely baked so I'm bumping it up to 350. I will never make this recipe again. :(

Cinnamon Syrup

Reviewed: Jul. 6, 2013
Great syrup, a must try! I followed the directions exactly except for the flour, I used 2T corn starch instead as some people suggested. It was a little hard to spread for me, but the taste was great. My boyfriend called it "addictive" and it definitely saved my not so great homemade pancakes LOL.

Banana Split Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2013
omg what an amazing recipe, tasted just like a banana split! I followed the recipe exactly, just quartered the cherries instead of putting whole ones into the batter. I needed a little more icing than the recipe called for, so I just added a little more of the ingredients until the taste and consistency were good. I added walnuts on top of the icing while it was still warm, then after that cooled I drizzled Hersheys hard shell syrup on top and added more walnuts. The only con of the recipe is that the bars were really messy, next time I'll leave it in the fridge for a few hours before serving to see if that helps. A must try recipe though, perfect for summer. :)

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2013
Great recipe! Easy, fast and delicious. I made some of the suggested changes: half tsp salt, and baked at 350 for 9 minutes. Another rater mentioned they came out flat, so instead of dropping the dough onto the cookie sheet I rolled a teaspoon amount of dough into balls first. They didn't look "fluffy" and they weren't exactly "flat", but they taste so good I don't think anyone's going to mind how they look! I also used half chocolate chips, half white chocolate and added some walnuts. Will definitely be saving this recipe. :)
