About this Cook
I go to Temple University part time, working toward my Bachelors in Bus Mgmt. I love to read and my ultimate career goal is to pursue writing full time. I also model part time as a hobby. I've always loved to bake, I'm a sucker for anything chocolate! I've just recently started learning how to cook since I realized I can't really survive off of desserts. At least not healthfully lol..
My favorite things to cook
I like trying new things, but it's kind of all new to me at the moment. Right now I stick to chicken dishes, cooking other meats and seafood scares me! I like things that are easy to make but look complicated, like pepperoni stuffed chicken. Not to mention it's delicious!

Anna's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Great recipe! Easy, fast and delicious. I made some of the suggested changes: half tsp salt, and baked at 350 for 9 minutes. Another rater mentioned they came out flat, so instead of dropping the dough onto the cookie sheet I rolled a teaspoon amount of dough into balls first. They didn't look "fluffy" and they weren't exactly "flat", but they taste so good I don't think anyone's going to mind how they look! I also used half chocolate chips, half white chocolate and added some walnuts. Will definitely be saving this recipe. :)

Banana Split Bars
omg what an amazing recipe, tasted just like a banana split! I followed the recipe exactly, just quartered the cherries instead of putting whole ones into the batter. I needed a little more icing than the recipe called for, so I just added a little more of the ingredients until the taste and consistency were good. I added walnuts on top of the icing while it was still warm, then after that cooled I drizzled Hersheys hard shell syrup on top and added more walnuts. The only con of the recipe is that the bars were really messy, next time I'll leave it in the fridge for a few hours before serving to see if that helps. A must try recipe though, perfect for summer. :)
