The Best Steak Marinade

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2014
Best Marinade ever! Great on steak and even on chicken- easy to make also and it keeps well in the refrigerator! oh, and using the leftover marinade and reducing it on the stop top made a great little sauce that everyone loved! Thanks for the great recipe-its become a standard here and everyone who tries it wants the recipe, yet it blends so well with the meat I have to tell them I used a marinade!

Maple Glazed Sweet Potatoes with Bacon and Caramelized Onions

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2014
Simply awesome! I used red onions for some color, but other than that followed the recipe exactly! I probably will decrease the amount of pure maple syrup since it was a bit sweeter than necessary and little runnier than I'd like. This is a keeper for holidays and special occasions! If you have to hold it for a length of time, there's no problem-flavors seem to marry and just get better!

Oatmeal Scotchies in a Pan

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2014
This recipe was amazing as is. Everyone loved it and asked for the recipe! Very moist and chewy in the center with a crisp top and edges! Next time for variation I may add caramel flavoring or cinnamon chips! Bet that's yummy too!

How to Make Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2014
I made this recipe last night as a side to the Chicken Cordon Bleu II recipe on this site. (also an awesome recipe!) I'm not a potato lover in general b/c I think they are too starchy and bland. This recipe was delicious and super flavorful! I followed the recipe exactly with only two changes. I substituted Savory (dried) because I did not have fresh or dried rosemary or thyme on hand. I used it generously. And since I'm not wild about potatoes, I cut the red potatoes into bite-sized pieces, so you get less potato center in proportion to the crusted browned edges. Use a small metal spatula to get under the potatoes without breaking them up instead of a spoon. Oh, I also added yellow peppers to the red ones suggested. It made the dish so pretty! A wonderful recipe that I will definitely make again, especially for company since holding them only enhances the flavor!
