Russian Tea Cakes I

Reviewed: Jan. 11, 2008
Very delicate cookie. Used advice of others and added the 1 tbsp of milk to bind the dough. Used almond extract instead of vanilla...very nice flavor. Very simple & great tasting cookie. Would definitely make again using different nuts next time.

Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2008
Very good sauce. Rated it 5 for taste & ease. As suggested by others, I doubled the recipe; used 1/2 cup brown sugar & 1/2 cup regular. I also added 3 green onions and pineapple chunks. Chicken came out tender & the sauce was really good. Would definitely keep in the rotation for dinner.

these cookies are excellent! Soft and chewy. I didn't have the shortening on-hand and used all butter and it still turned out well. Good recipe. Thanks for sharing it.

Great recipe...just the right amount of sweetness, slight crunch and chewiness. Took the suggestion of another user and only used 3 cups of flour.

Soft Sugar Cookies IV

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Excellent cookie. So soft and good. Definitely cream the butter/shortening and sugar WELL before adding the other ingredients. Frosted with the Sugar Cookie Frosting recipe from this site and the cookies were gone by the end of the day. Seriously.

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This was delicious! I used pork shoulder and cooked on low for 8 hours with the root beer. Shredded and used Bullseye Original BBQ sauce and cooked on low for another hour. Served on rolls and it was a hit!

Super Bowl Bites

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
This recipe is so good. Though I couldn't bring myself to put raw meat on the buns. Sarah Lee now makes mini buns and these worked great for me. At the suggestions of other reviewers, I pre-cooked the meat - flattened in a 13x9 pan - and baked for 8 mins. Then cut and put on the buns. SO GOOD! This is definitely a keeper.

Beef Stroganoff III

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2007
Made this w/the hubs for dinner - it was simple and quick - best of all, it tasted great. We did use fresh mushrooms instead of the canned and also added garlic. Delish. Will definitely make again. UPDATE: I made this again, and used the suggestion of using 2 TBSP of flour and cornstarch...this made a very velvety-like texture. Also used 1/2 of an onion diced instead of the green...I like this much better. Though the recipe is great as it is.

Easy Ice Cream Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2011
This recipe was so simple, all ingredients readily available, and fun. A fun way to have the kids help. Used the advice of other reviewers and rolled the dough onto a cookie sheet and cut into circles using the rim of a small glass. Perfect little sandwiches. Would definitely make again and would try using different cake mixes/ice cream.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
these cupcakes are so good. I colored the batter with food coloring (14 yellow & 4 red for orange) for Halloween and the kids loved them! They had fun making the cupcakes as well. Will definitely make again. Freezing the cookie dough is a must. The center came out "gooey" and perfect.

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 27, 2011
This was delicious and so simple to make during the busy Christmas morning. Combined all the ingredients, though I added mushrooms, and popped in the oven. An hour later, a delicious and easy breakfast that was enjoyed by everyone. Next time, I may add some spinach for color. A definite keeper recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
This is a keeper...I followed other reviewers and doubled the sauce, which is delicious! I also added about 5 garlic cloves (minced) - personal preference and had to use lime juice because that's what I had on-hand...oh, and I used ground pork because that's what I had. Baked covered for an hour @ 350. Perfect...my 5 and 3 year old boys loved it!
