Shepherd's Pie VI

I hate when people change the recipe and then rate it, so here I go. I used tri-tip, because that's what I had. I cubed the meat (bite-size) then salt/pepper and added a 1/4 cup of Worcestershire. Browned the meat w/the sauteed onions and garlic. Added a bag of brown gravy and simmered until thick. Poured into 13x9 dish. Added frozen peas/carrots mix. Made mashed potatoes & added about 2 cups of shredded Dubliner(?spelling) cheese. Spread the potatoes over the meat and topped w/with more shredded cheese. Baked for 20 mins. @ 375 until golden brown. Total hit! Thank you for the recipe because I never made it before & the recipe gave me a guideline to make this wonderful dish.

Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2012
I doubled the seasoning (personal preference) and baked @ 350 until meat therometer read 145. I also doubled the sauce for basting and to drizzle on top for serving. Let the meat rest for about 30 mins, sliced and served with rice. This was simply delicious. Thank you for sharing the recipe. This is definitely going into our dinner rotation. My husband wants me to try the sauce with chicken as well.

Chicken Cordon Bleu II

Excellent recipe. The sauce really makes the dish - my boys were licking their plates. I did finish cooking the chicken in the oven @ 350 for 10 mins. Then followed the recipe from there. I would definitely make this again.

Clone of a Cinnabon

I'm never buying cinnamon rolls again. This is simple and good! I don't have a bread maker so I proofed the yeast by adding a package of active yeast to the warm milk & 1 tsp. of sugar - let sit for 10mins until frothy. Added the wet ingredients and with the hook attachment on the Kitchen aid, added the all purpose flour until a ball formed. Let rise and followed the recipe instructions from there. I used dental floss to cut the rolls. Baked @ 350 for 30 mins. DELICIOUS! Definitely worth the effort, though it wasn't much effort at all. My family loved it.

Too Much Chocolate Cake

ok, with over 3000 reviews who needs another? Well, here's my 2cents. This recipe is good! I didn't have a bundt pan, so I made cupcakes and baked for 22 mins. They turned out FANTASTIC. It didn't taste like a "box" cake. Simply delicious. Didn't change a thing - though I think I will add Kahlua for an adult cupcake version. Make this...you won't be disappointed. 3/3/12 UPDATE: adult version :) - used 1/2 cup + more of Kahlua instead of the warm water. FANTASTIC!!!

This was just ok for me. The recipe is simple and it turned out fine. But it seemed like it was missing something. It was a little on the dry side for me.

Indian Tomato Chicken

This is absolutely delicious! Beautiful flavors...I didn't change a thing - though I did not use a slow cooker. Just prepared in a large sauce pan. And cooked covered for on low for an hour. The chicken was so tender. Do not skip the food processor step - I served with Basmati rice and the family loved it. I would definitely make this again.

Cabbage Rolls II

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2012
This is a keeper...I followed other reviewers and doubled the sauce, which is delicious! I also added about 5 garlic cloves (minced) - personal preference and had to use lime juice because that's what I had on-hand...oh, and I used ground pork because that's what I had. Baked covered for an hour @ 350. Perfect...my 5 and 3 year old boys loved it!

what a nice recipe...4 ingredients - and it's delicious. I only got 24 cookies, next time I'll make the balls smaller and try different jams. A great go-to recipe since ingredients are so readily available. Thank you for sharing...

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

This was delicious and so simple to make during the busy Christmas morning. Combined all the ingredients, though I added mushrooms, and popped in the oven. An hour later, a delicious and easy breakfast that was enjoyed by everyone. Next time, I may add some spinach for color. A definite keeper recipe. Thank you for sharing.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough + Cupcake = The BEST Cupcake. Ever.

Reviewed: Oct. 29, 2011
these cupcakes are so good. I colored the batter with food coloring (14 yellow & 4 red for orange) for Halloween and the kids loved them! They had fun making the cupcakes as well. Will definitely make again. Freezing the cookie dough is a must. The center came out "gooey" and perfect.

Rainbow Clown Cake

This was so much fun to make. The kids loved all the different colors. I separated the batter into 5 different bowls - each cupcake got a teaspoon of colored batter - 4 teaspoon total of each color, perfect amount of batter. Would definitely make this again.

Easy Ice Cream Sandwiches

Reviewed: Aug. 2, 2011
This recipe was so simple, all ingredients readily available, and fun. A fun way to have the kids help. Used the advice of other reviewers and rolled the dough onto a cookie sheet and cut into circles using the rim of a small glass. Perfect little sandwiches. Would definitely make again and would try using different cake mixes/ice cream.

Super Bowl Bites

This recipe is so good. Though I couldn't bring myself to put raw meat on the buns. Sarah Lee now makes mini buns and these worked great for me. At the suggestions of other reviewers, I pre-cooked the meat - flattened in a 13x9 pan - and baked for 8 mins. Then cut and put on the buns. SO GOOD! This is definitely a keeper.

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: May 23, 2011
This recipe is a great starter, but you do have to tweek it to make it "perfect". I didn't brown the meat - no need to since you're going to shred it anyways. Added 1 1/2 tsp of cumin as suggested by others. After 6 hours on high, shredded the meat and added back into the slow cooker. Added addn'l 1 1/2 tsp of cumin, 3 cubes of beel boulion and cooked for another hour or so. This was really good...and we have enough meat for anohter meal tonight! It's a beautiful thing.
