I have made this 3 times in a week and all I can say is HOLY DONUTS!!! If left to sit in an airtight container for 6 hours or so, these little beauties soften up and taste just like the donuts we get at the fair from the Holy donut wagon. My family really liked them the first time but loved them after I cut the nutmeg down to 1/4 teaspoon and added 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon to the batter. I also cut the melted butter to 2 Tablespoons for dipping, it was more than enough. It only took 13 minutes to bake so watch them closely after 12 minutes.
