Fried Cabbage with Bacon, Onion, and Garlic
I just made this for dinner and we loved it! I was looking for something different to do with my cabbage an found this recipe and liked the way it sounded. Even my daughter who won't eat cabbage unless it's coleslaw liked it. I made it as written, no changes. I will be making this again soon! Thanks for the recipe Kathi!

Donut Muffins
I have made this 3 times in a week and all I can say is HOLY DONUTS!!! If left to sit in an airtight container for 6 hours or so, these little beauties soften up and taste just like the donuts we get at the fair from the Holy donut wagon. My family really liked them the first time but loved them after I cut the nutmeg down to 1/4 teaspoon and added 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon to the batter. I also cut the melted butter to 2 Tablespoons for dipping, it was more than enough. It only took 13 minutes to bake so watch them closely after 12 minutes.

Chef John's Buttermilk Biscuits
I just made these biscuits and they were wonderful! After reading the reviews I decided to use my food processor since I have very bad hands. I pulsed the dry ingredients 3 times to mix them, then I added the butter which I had cut into small pieces. I pulsed that 4 times and it was crumbly so I added the milk and pulsed 4 times so it would hold together. I removed it and followed the rest of the directions as to patting it out. All in all it was oven ready in 4 minutes. My cookie cutter was only 2 inches so I had to adjust my cook time to 11 minutes. These were very simple to make and had a great taste.
