About this Cook
I am married with a 16 yr.old son,who is on our Highschool Varsity Football team.Boy he just loves my Soups! I am dissabled, but am still able to cook! Hubby helped me with scraping out squash seeds on my Butternut Squash for soup, I cubed it up. I like Scrapbooking,going to church,and being with extended family,oh,and shopping online! I have been a member of Allrecipe for years until a computer glitch in Jan 2013!
My favorite things to cook
I actually love baking too!I can cook everythng! Usually throwing things together that I have on hand.I don't have a favorite thing to cook,but can bake a moist banana Bread from memory and from scratch!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom gave me a recipe filing box of recipes as a graduation gift. My twin got a duplicate recipe box also! Don't really tnink I have any cooking traditons.
My cooking triumphs
I got a Blue Ribbon for a veggie/pasta recipe last year!
My cooking tragedies
I added Cloves instead of Cinnamon once, and ONLY once!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw
Shredded more Carrot for this recipe. It's Chillin' in the fridge. I'm Taking it to a Church Fish Fry as a side dish. Looks Good. The real test is tomorrow! Lots of hungry people showing up w/ their side dishes tomorrow too. Wish me luck.

Butternut Squash Soup II
Super easy!SUPER GOOD! I put all chopped food into my Dutch Oven. Made A double batch! Cooked it,then used my emersion blender to make it smooth in the pot!It Tastes Awesome!

Macaroni Tuna Salad
Changed this recipe a tad. I added Black olive and substituted Spiral for Macaroni! I also added some Garlic Salt for taste. It was a little bland without. My family Loved it! I could of added green onion,but didn't think of it until it was too late! Oh, I used 1-16 oz. box +1/4 of another box of pasta.
