Chicken and Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2004
I left the chicken breasts as they were, I didn't pound them thin and they were really juicy. I used fresh mushrooms (I always do I never use canned), and the sauce was very tasty.

Chicken A La Yummy

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2004
Wasn't too sure about this one as I'm not a really big fan of a strong red wine taste. But this was really good, and the paprika and garlic salt (used a bit more than suggested) really spiked the flavour up.

Really strong flavour, nice and tasty, not for those who like it mild though.

Apple and Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2004
I found this recipe quite tasty, although it was quite salty. I think the onion soup mix takes over the flavour too much and qould probably try to cut back on this next time to make the flavours balance a bit better.

Chicken and Leek Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2004
This was really tasty, I also put in some fresh chopped asparagus which added to the flavour (you could also try broccoli). I put puff pasty on top of the casserole dish sprinkled with poppy seeds which really worked well.

Crumbed Avocado Steak

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2004
This recipe was really good. I used rib fillet but could have used veal. The sauce was so tasty and worked wonderfully well with the avocado.

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2004
I thought that the sauce woud be a bit bland but it was very tasty and the fresh herbs really lifted it.

Angela's Easy Breaded Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2004
Quite tasty if very mildly flavoured, I even let the chicken marinate in the Italian dressing for 1/2 an hour, I think I might leave it to marinate for longer next time.

Amy's Garlic Egg Chicken

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2004
This was quite good, I think it needed more egg yolks though, I used two but could've done with another one. There is no egg left at the end to put over the chicken.

Chicken Fried Chicken

The coating was nice and crunchy but just an ordinary crumbed piece of chicken besides that.

Chicken a la Charlie

Reviewed: Aug. 30, 2004
This recipe was good, although I wold have added the onion at the start as they weren't cooked enough. Also the cooking time for the chicken was too long so they it was slightly overcooked at the end, so cut down on the cooking time.

I liked this very much, although when I went to put the dijon mustard in I found I didn't have any, so i put in wholegrain mustard instead. It worked very well, so tasty.

I didn't have high hopes for this recipe but it was really good. The crunch of the cashews and the tangy sauce combination was great.

I don't eat pork but I made it for my Mum. She seemed to like it but I think it may have been a bit sweet.

Deluxe Sour Cream Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2004
I used only 1 slice of bacon per chicken breast and fresh mushrooms not canned. The sauce was tasty if a little bland and was very runny. I would thicken it up next time.
