Skillet Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2005
It was very stringent, it certainly cleared the sinuses whilst cooking. After I'd finished cooking it I dreaded the first bite thinking it would be way too tart, but it wasn't too bad. Need something to eat with it that is bland to contrast to the tartness.

Chicken Supreme II

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2005
This was pretty good, I used marsala as I didn't have sherry. I served it with pasta but the sauce was a little thin. All in all quite good.

Honey Mustard Steak

Didn't really like the flavour of this as it was too sweet, but overall it was OK.

Baked Chicken With Apricot Glaze

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2005
I found this recipe to be very ordinary, no real flavour to it. I was just left with a baked chicken breast even after marinating for an hour the flavour just wasn't there.

Chicken In Basil Cream

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2005
Sauce was simple and so tasty, it tended to be a bit salty but it was to my taste so I liked it very much.

Mushroom-Stuffed Tenderloin

Reviewed: Feb. 8, 2005
This was OK, but nothing flash, the cooking time was too long and it was slightly overcooked.

Chicken Dijon

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2005
This sauce was so quick and easy and yummy. I used normal cream and perhaps next time might try a smidge of garlic powder, and definitely will do some pasta to mop up some of the sauce.

Saltimbocca alla Pollo

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2005
Very good and pretty simple, I thought the white wine sauce might be a little one dimensional, but it was tasty.

Simply Parmesan Chicken

This was so easy and surprisingly tasty considering the small number of ingredients involved. It came out really moist.

Ray's Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2005
This was very tasty, with a lot of ingredients in the marinade, but this resulted in the complex flavours. I did leave out the lemon pepper and used marsala instead of sherry, very good.

Baked Apricot Chicken

Apricot chicken that isn't too apricoty. The french dressing adds a further dimension to the sauce, really quite good.

Steak Continental

This was a tasty marinade but was a little salty, I like salt so it was ok with me but I can imagine it being too much for others.

Chicken Delight

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2005
This was OK, the flavour was alright on the chicken but the crackers were awful, way too much. Also I cooked the chicken for about 45 to 50 minutes, 1 hour would be too long.

Apricot Glazed Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2005
I didn't hold out much hope for the sauce as it didn't look very appetising whilst cooking. However, it turned out to be a very tasty, sweet sauce. Good.

Steak Diane

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2005
I used fillet steak, not strips, and needed to use a bit more dry mustard to rub on the steak than what was called for in the recipe. Also at the end I added dijon mustard not dry mustard. It didn't make enough sauce though I would add a bit of beef stock next time, all in all quite tasty.

Chicken Danielle

Really good, the marsala added a lovely sweetness. I used only cream of mushroom soup as I didn't have cream of chicken.

Mushroom Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2005
This was great, the chicken was so soft and moist, The sauce was creamy and wonderful, although I could almost feel my arteries hardening with all the cream and cheese. It is true that the recipe could be enhanced by the addition of a little spice as mentioned previously.

The marinade made the steaks very flavourful, I didn't use the blue cheese though.
