Pan-Seared Tilapia

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
I seasoned with salt, pepper, celery salt, and onion powder and let the tilapia cook in the butter for a minute at the end. Yum!

Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo

Reviewed: Nov. 20, 2013
I'm a big fan of alfredo sauce and I absolutely loved this! I also added some garlic salt, sea salt, and some Knorr Aromat All Purpose Seasoning. Yum! And my hubby doesn't usually care for alfredo, but he actually liked this. Thanks for the recipe!

Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies II

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
This is my new favorite cookie recipe! My boyfriend is a cookie monster and has me make cookies just about every other day, so we've tried quite a few recipes! I didn't have shortening though so I just upped the butter to a full cup. I put the dough in the fridge and the next day I baked them at 350 for about 10 minutes and they came out with a nice satisfying gooey top and a soft crunch on the bottom! Thanks for the great recipe!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Feb. 26, 2013
I actually NEVER liked salmon. I usually stay far away from it. However, I absolutely LOVED this!!!! I wanted to find a way to make myself eat salmon and I must say thank you for helping me find an option! I marinated the salmon in the sauce for around 3 hours and then I put it in a foil packet and poured some of the juice over it and baked it at 425 for about 18 minutes. I then served it up with a simple side salad.

Iced Mocha Fusion Shake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
I didn't have mocha instant coffee mix so I used a healthy teaspoon of nescafe instant coffee and two heaping table spoons of swiss miss hot chocolate mix (im not a huge fan of coffee, but I may add a tiny bit more coffee next time). I also decided to skip out on the vanilla since all I had was a vanilla bean. Oh, I also used a tad bit more milk to compliment the two extra ice cubes I threw in to finish off the tray :) Tasted perfect! Thanks!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
I didnt have any rosemary so I used the same amount of oregano and a little parsley. I also didn't add any salt. I marinated it for about 4 hours and then baked it in the oven as suggested by another reviewer for 20 minutes at 450 degrees. It came out with a wonderful texture and a good potential for taste but the amount of olive oil made it look sort of gross, was a bit overpowering, and made it too oily. Next time I hope to use about half the amount of olive oil. Thanks for the recipe! =)

Healthier Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2013
I LOVE this recipe and I keep it in my regular rotation! The hubby loves it too! I usually let it broil until the toppings have plenty of golden brown spots though rather than just the 2-3 minutes. Perfect

Coffee Shake

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2013
Yum! I really hate coffee but I really loved this! I used a little bit of vanilla bean seeds instead of vanilla extract though since I cant have vanilla extract. I also drizzled chocolate syrup over the top of the drink when it was done. Thanks for the recipe!

Stuffed Shells I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2013
I cut the recipe in half and used small curd cottage cheese, used 2-3 teaspoons each of basil and parsley and I was generous on the sauce on top (I used a whole 24 oz can of Ragu 7-herb Tomato Pasta Sauce overall). I used a ziplock bag with a dime-sized hole in it to fill the pasta shells. I also covered the top of the pan with aluminum foil, baked for 20 minutes, then took it off and baked for another 20 minutes. It was delicious and afterwards I felt like a happy stuffed Shell(my nickname)!
