Chinese Chicken Fried Rice II
My husband & I both loved this rice! My husband said it tasted "magical" and asked me to make it again ASAP. I served it with Perdue General Tso Chicken (heated the frozen chicken with its ginger teriyaki sauce) and a bag of fresh mixed vegetables (carrots, brocoli, green beans mixture) which I stir fried in bottled teriyaki sauce. It was a great & easy quick meal with very little effort or time spent preparing it. Wish we would have had egg rolls or spring rolls with it too. The only changes that I made to this rice recipe were: 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 tsp of sesame oil, 1 cup of fresh tiny peas: just because the fried rice that we order from our local Chinese food takeout, has those additions. And I think these 3 additions pushed this recipe from a 4 star into a five star, for our tastes. I wish there were leftovers! But my husband ate it all...

Banana Crumb Muffins
Perfection. Don't look further if you need an impressive & delicious banana muffin. I've made these several times to use up bananas. The only thing I add is one cup of chopped walnuts, just because we like them. These come out of the oven perfect every time, 19 minutes in a preheated oven.

Debdoozie's Blue Ribbon Chili
This chili was so easy to make, & delicious. After the chili had simmered for one hour: I layered the chili onto a bed of white tortilla chips on a baking sheet, put a layer of mild grated cheddar cheese on it, & baked it in the oven until the cheese melted. Then served the loaded nachos with 4 different bowls of cold condiments: shredded lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, fresh mild salsa, to dip. I wish I would have picked up pickled jalepenos & sliced black olives too. Next time! It was fun to eat the chili this way & we enjoyed the meal. Thank you for this excellent recipe. I also loved that I didn't need to use a knife at all to prepare this entire meal! Preparation was so simple & efficient.
