Slow Cooker Beef Stew I

Reviewed: Dec. 18, 2008
This stew was very flavorful. I did follow a few recommendations from other reviewers. I added 1/2 cup of red wine, increased the worcestershire to 1 tablespoon, and added a package of McCormick beef stew seasoning. I had also planned on cooking the beef first to seal it, but ended up not having time. It didn't need it. It tasted great and I loved the simplicity. I left out the potatoes and served it over mashed. Delicious! The stew is very thick.

This was delicious. A family fave. Better than Cracker Barrel and I didn't think that was possible.
