I made this batter, then, in the 3 min it took me to preheat my pan and start another pan with oil for frying hash-browns, the batter had thickened to the point that i couldn't even get it out of the spoon i was using to scoop it out into the pan. Too much baking powder IMO, you need to add at least another 1/2 cup of milk to thin it out to the point its workable. Taste was good, just need to either hold back some of the baking powder or add more milk to thin it out.
