Grilled Salmon with Bacon and Corn Relish

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2014
This recipe is fantastic. Only thing that I had to change was 5 slices of bacon instead of 6. Only had 5. But it was not missed. I did have some of the relish left. i could eat it by itself. Thank you.

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2014
Boy am I glad I went by some of the tips. Two packages of the biscuits would have not given any gravy/juices. I still had to add water and chicken boost at the end. I did the broth instead of the water it might not have diluted the chicken flavor much using water. But it was so much better with the broth. Next time I don't think I will shred the chicken. I sliced my chicken breast into tenders size slices then shredded. If I wouldn't have shredded there might have been more juices. So this is why I am giving this a three. I know I would not had been happy with a mound of dry dumplings. With my decrease in dumplings and exchange to broth I would give it a 4.

Oyster Dressing (Stuffing)

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2013
I have been making oyster dressing for some time, this is close but surely the writer omitted the chicken broth, but then when I saw the video it did look dry. This should be a very moist dressing and have the look of golden on top but moist inside. I do.this recipe by look only so can give measurements, but by stirring all the ingredients it should be moister more than when you add water to stove top stuffing. By the way I also use pepperidge farm herb bread crumbs. Hope this helps. It would be five star if it had the chicken broth.

Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Blue Cheese and Bacon

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2013
Went out of the box for me to try Brussels sprouts. I used the butter, next time I will try the olive oil and possibly replace feta for the blue cheese. I will also try it in a pan an cover with a lid instead of bag. Still very tasty.

Italian Vegetable Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 12, 2013
Excellent soup, used lean beef tips in place of ground beef. It made enough for several meals for two. Great to freeze. Used pinto beans since that was what I had, plus like them better. Thank you, in my recipe box forever !
