The flavor of these was DELICIOUS! I was able to use less maple syrup on them than usual. They were not as fluffy as I thought they'd be, but that may have been me. I used WW Pastry Flour, 1/4 c half n half with the rest 2% milk, lemon juice to sour it, and added 1 tsp vanilla. I did use just a tad more milk than the recipe because someone else recommended that when using WW flour, but that may have been a mistake. Next time I will add the baking powder last (to avoid overworking it), and not wait as long to put the ingredients together. I think they were too flat because I let things sit too long before cooking (and I may have overstirred the batter in the beginning). I gave 5 stars on flavor, and because I do believe that there was a chef's error involved! Yummy, yummy, yummy!
