Gyros Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2004
The whole family really loves this recipe. It has nice flavor and is a nice change of pace from your basic burger. Next time I make it though I think I will mix the spices into the meat and refrigerate for a couple of hours to let the flavors go through the meat better. I used only ground beef as we did not have lamb available and we loved them served with the suggested pitas and toppings and tazitki sauce. Thank you for a wonderful recipe.

Very Berry Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2004
I used mixed berries from the frozen foods aisle and added extra sugar as suggested. They were quite good but next time I think I wikll add a little lemon rind and cinnamon/nutmeg to bring out the flavors. They were all eaten and enjoyed by my family however and I love the added oatmeal in the recipe.

Cheeseburger Noodle Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2004
very good. My family really enjoys this when I make it. I have made it twice since finding this recipe. Changes I made were to use half of the reccomended amount of sour cream and use a fat free variety. Also we decided it needed veggies so we added frozen mixed veggies to the mix before putting in pan. I use a chedder/mozza mix of shred cheeze on top. Very enjoyable and tasty. A true comfort food! Thank you for the recipe.

Fettuccini with Mushroom, Ham and Rose Sauce

Reviewed: Oct. 19, 2004
This recipe was good but I felt it was missing something although I can't quite decide what at this time. My husband really disliked it but he is not a huge fan of rose sauces. I may try it again on a night where hubby will not be home but I will have to think on what spices/herbs to add to really bring the flavors out.

Best Ever Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2004
This was the best muffin recipe I have tried so far. I really like the versatility of it. I tried it adding 2 cups of fresh cranberries, one chopped up apple (peel removed), cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice and one heaping tbsp of orange marmalade (melted and added to liquids before adding to dry ingredients). I cooked tham at 400 degrees F but they were done in 20 minutes and were nice and moist and light. I will definately make these again but am already thinking of other variations. Thank you for this recipe.
