Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2014
My cheesecake rose about two inches while cooking then fell flat in the center. The edges were too dark for my taste. It did not look appetizing.

Dessertlover's Classic Caramel Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 27, 2014
The first time the sugar recrystalized. The second time it was a watery white weird looking sauce. Then I read the #1 tip which is to heat the sugar by itself first to get that nice caramel color. The taste is a 4. I would try the recipe again with the change of directions..

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2014
First I doubled the recipe & added one pint of fresh blueberries. After reading some of the reviews I went ahead and made the batter the night before since I was making them at work. Pancakes can out so light and fluffy. Excellent recipe- everyone who tried it loved it and passed the recipe on.

Snowballs II

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2013
I've tried this recipe twice over last couple of weeks- I did not use the peppermint candy as suggested (I don't like it on my cookies) and both times I used more of the powder sugar (I didn't even measure). The first time I mixed it by hand, the second time I used my counter top mixer much easier the second time. The 1st time I used only pecans & the 2nd time I used 1/2 pecans & 1/2 chopped almonds. Both times the cookies came out perfect. You do have to be careful when you take the cookies out of the oven - lost a few when my oven mitt crushed a few the first time. I was more careful the second time around. Thanks for sharing so much! :)

Garbanzo Bean Chocolate Cake (Gluten Free!)

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2013
First time making GF dessert. I didn't want to tell my husband or guests what was in the dessert until they all tasted it. They loved how moist, perfectly sweet it was and how light it was. They were SHOCKED to find out it was garbanzos! I should have read some of the reviews that recommended peeling the garbanzo beans & using a blender - will try next time. I used some whipped cream w/pecans or strawberrys & both were very great! I would like to try something other than white sugar. Definitely recommend.
