Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2014
I made this for a special brunch casserole and it was very well received! I covered it in foil and baked about 40 minutes.

Flourless Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2014
I gave these 5 stars because they are so fast and easy to make, and I usually have the three ingredients on hand to whip them up at any time. I cut the sugar in half and using Skippy PB that made them sweet enough for me.

Corned Beef and Cabbage II

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2014
This is another good recipe for corned beef and cabbage from this site! The corned beef turned out tender and so yummy cooked with the celery, onion, and orange. I cooked red potatoes and carrots in the other pot a little before adding the cabbage and apple.

Asian Asparagus Salad with Pecans

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2014
This is a delicious way of serving asparagus. I did use less oil and soy sauce and more sugar than called for due to personal preference. I also toasted the pecans and only marinated for about 4 hrs.

The sauerkraut is a must; and speaking as a born and bred Seattle-ite, I guess it's true, everything from Seattle is awesome!!!

Polish Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2014
We liked this, but I did replace the water and added the seasonings again after simmering the chicken to reduce the grease. I added carrots, garlic, some paprika and a little cayenne pepper.

Albondigas

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2014
This was good, but I used way less salsa than recipe states (medium), otherwise it would have been too hot for us. I prebaked the meatballs and drained the grease, and will add more seasoning to them next time.

Slider-Style Mini Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2014
I made these per the recipe except put in the pickle before baking, as some others have said. They turned out great and were a hit at the potluck I took them to. I will be making these a lot!

Sorta Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2014
I love Salisbury steak and I thought this was an easy way of making them. I only made 3 steaks, but kept everything else the same. I liked the way the onions caramelized after baking.

Holiday Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2014
This was good and I will make it again. I would, however, recommend the dressing be served on the side as any leftovers won't last otherwise.

Ramen Coleslaw

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2014
I have been making this for years and it is my favorite coleslaw! The things I do different is to add sunflower seeds to the mix and toast altogether with the broken up ramen noodles, and usually use the oriental flavor. I would suggest to add everything together right before serving.

Mimi's Smoked Salmon Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2014
We loved this chowder! I didn't use as much salt, since the smoked salmon and chicken broth have a lot of salt already. I also used a couple of shakes of red pepper instead of hot sauce.

Beef Pot Pie III

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2014
This was a good start for a beef pot pie. I will however experiment with different herbs to try to make it taste more like Swanson's hungry man's beef pot pie...my favorite.

Mrs. Reagan's Persimmon Pudding

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2013
I have never had persimmon pudding before, but it won't be the last. I remember my grandfather talking about eating this growing up and how wonderful he thought it was. If it was anything like this recipe, I can see why.

BBQ NY Strip

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2013
This is very good and tasty. I did marinate overnight. The first time I used A-1 sauce and then I used Montreal steak seasoning the next time, both were excellent!

Bread Pudding with Praline Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2013
Rich, rich, rich, but oh soooo good! This was the first time I made bread pudding and was able to use up old stale odds and ends of different kinds of bread left in my refrigerator in this (waste not want not). I also cut back to 2 cups of sugar instead of 3. The sauce was an added bonus!

Beef Tips and Noodles

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2013
I made this in a crock pot with the half cup of red wine (like in the video), and added pepper and garlic. Towards the end, I added noodles from Grandma's Noodles II recipe on this site. This was a very good meal!

Grandma's Noodles II

This is the first time I made noodles from scratch and it won't be the last. I didn't know how easy they were to make. We all loved them!

I also baked this in a 9x12" pan and poured the caramel sauce over the apples before the crumble top.
