Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

tried this dish last night and it was a huge hit at my house I will definately make it again. I wasn't sure how the cheese sauce was going to go but my husband really enjoyed it.....this is another keeper.

Cake Balls

Made cake lollipops for my son's 13th birthday and he LOVED THEM...I followed the instuctions but used another tip I heard about and added lollipop sticks to them and popped them in the freezer to harden the chocolate and bam they were done....I used Chocolate cake/ chocolate frosting & chocolate melts...(what can I say he loves chocolate.)....I will definately be trying different variations of this one....YUMMY.....

Easy Vodka Sauce

This was a very simple recipe that turned out great for a quick meal on a work night.Along with the onions I added some finely chopped garlic and browned it in the butter, I also added a touch of garlic powder and a pinch of sugar to the sauce as it cooked during the last 30 minutes. You can definately eat this sauce alone or over some penne noodles or do as I did and add some grilled chicken with it which was great....This is another keeper.

Fluffy Biscuits

these turned out just ok for me but my other family members thought they were good. I subsituted butter for the shortening and I was aked to add a little more butter the next time I make them..

Waffles I

Just finished a batch of waffles and they were o.k....Like a few of the others i doubled the sugar and vanilla and it still turned out well...Once the waffles were done I put a couple of scoops strawberry icecream on it to have a tasty dessert....

Homesteader Cornbread

This cornbread was a very big hit at my house. The only change I made was to brush a little melted butter on top of it during the last 5-10 minutes of baking and it was great.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

This recipe definately deserves five stars. It was quick and very easy to make. I used celery seeds inside of chopped celery and I added a little garlic powder and house seasoning just to give it a little more flavor....I'm very happy I tried it out and my family couldn't stop eating it they asked me to make more before it was even finished.....

Banana Crumb Muffins

I made these muffins on a Saturday morning and not only were they easy to make they were delicious..My entire family devoured them and asked me when I was planning to make another batch. The crumb topping was perfect and my 5yr old couldn't get enough of it. I'm not surprised this recipe received so many positive reviews..This is definately a keeper at my house.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This is a keeper I marinated my chicken for 24hrs and then cooked it for about 5 hrs..The only changes I made were to melt a little butter and rub it into the chicken before I seasnoned it and I started cooking the bird at 275 and gradually increased it to 350 last last hour of cooking just to make sure the skin was crispy...The end result was a very juicy chicken with a a great taste...I will definately make it again

Soft Chocolate Cookies

This recipe definately earned all five stars. These cookies were easy to make and disappeared quickly...I tried them out yesterday and had to make at least 5 batches before the night was over because they were so good....They are great just the way they are but you can definately play around with the recipe and add other ingredients to it like chocolate chips, toffee pieces, m&m candies or mint to add a different flavor to them....This is going to be a keeper....

Pasta Lasagna

Made this last night for dinner and found it was really quick and easy to prepare. It turned out great but the next time I would not put as much ricotta cheese because it was a little to much for my taster. However, this is a keeper and the recipe will stay in my family.

Broiled Lobster Tails

Tried this recipe and it was great. I used paprika and the old bay and it gave it a really nice taste. I agree you do have to watch them because they can easily burn. My husband loved them and we will have them again.
