My family really enjoyed this, even my daughter who doesn't care for spicy foods. I did follow the suggestions of others and cut the red pepper to 1 tsp. and the salt to 1-1/2 tsp. I also added 2 cloves of minced garlic. The only other change I made was I used chopped fresh chives (2/3 cup) instead of green onions because I couldn't find any that looked good at the store. It was terrific and if I didn't have the kiddos to think about I'd make it full force with the spices to heat it up a little.
