About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
There is so many things I love to cook it's hard to name just a few! But if I absolutely have to pick, i'd say I love making Hawaiian Kebobs, Stir Frys, and soup/stew!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family loves to fry food and smother it in gravy ( chicken, beef, deer). I love it that way, and i'm working on my own recipe for it!
My cooking triumphs
My biggest triumph was making a turkey for Thanksgiving. It was my first time making one, so I was nervous! But to my surprise, it was such a hit that there was barely any left the next day.
My cooking tragedies
I haven't had tragedies, but more so bad experiments or odd tastes. Like a Sweet cake that was more like cornbread with berries.

Creamy Spiced Coleslaw
This coleslaw is delicious! I followed the recipe to a T and it came out perfect. There wasn't too much dressing or too little and the mayonnaise wasn't overwhelming! Best of all this wasn't super sweet! I don't like really sweet coleslaw but this recipe has just the right amount of sweetness. This is definitely my new go-to coleslaw recipe!

Best Egg Rolls
These are really good, the only thing that's off is the seasoning; the egg rolls were a little bland. But everything else was great! I multiplied this recipe to serve at Christmas and they were a hit! I'll make them again for sure but i'll make some tweaks to the seasoning.

Easy Japanese Steakhouse Soup
This recipe was really good! I doubled the ingredients for the broth and added some whole wheat noodles to it before adding in the veggies. I didn't add the snow peas since I didn't have them. I will definitely make this again!
