Crab Bisque

Delicious and so easy! A bonus that it's all ingredients I typically have in the house. Good as is or can dress it up. I sauted some celery and garlic, added some cooking sherry and tabasco. A little on the sweet side but soooo good.

Puttanesca I

used a little less than 1/3 cup EVOO, that was plenty. Made with 1 can stewed tomatoes and 1 cup grape tomatoes. Would be good as a dipping sauce using less liquid.

Dijon Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Aug. 22, 2009
This is by far my favorite chicken salad recipe. I use poached chicken breast instead of canned and cut back on the mayo. Chopped cabbage/coleslaw mix is a nice substitute for celery, and I like a bit of garlic powder instead of chives. Thanks for the excellent recipe!!!

Simple and delicious. Great mix of flavors. I've used leftover corned beef and the canned.

Stuffed Filet Mignon Bites

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
I've made this a couple of times & they always come out great. The only thing I change is to marinate with my own mix, though you could probably skip the marinade altogether. The tips I have are same as others: keep the pieces small and wrap the bacon in the opposite direction of the steak to keep the filling in. It's less messy to assemble if the cream cheese mix is well chilled. I've made on grill & in broiler.
