Baked Macaroni and Cheese I

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
This is a great version of an adult macaroni and cheese! It is well worth the time put into it and is great when you are craving a familiar but tasty comfort food. Thank you for the recipe!

Death By Garlic

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
I love garlic and I love this dish! One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it can be tailored to what leftovers you have in your fridge. I throw in roasted chicken, sausage, or salmon, depending on what I have (although the sausage is definitely the best!), and I always add brocoli also. I usually use parm instead of Romano only because it is what I typically have on hand. Thank you for the great recipe!

Creamy Pesto Shrimp

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
This is an amazing recipe that is a definite indulgence! I have made it a couple of different times. I used green pesto the first time and although it was delicious, presentation wise it was lacking. I used a roasted red pepper pesto the next time and not only was it tasty but it was also beautiful! I used half shrimp and half scallops. Even my in-laws loved it! Thank you for the recipe.

Sauteed Portobellos and Spinach

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
This is a great vegetable side dish! I do not like red wine so I was a little hesitant to try it, but it was delicious. I used fresh spinach instead of frozen and it turned out wonderful. Thank you for the recipe.

Easy Deviled Chicken

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
This is such a delicious, easy recipe! I have made it both with the stuffing mix and with the Italian bread crumbs and both ways are equally good. A great dinner for when you want something tasty to eat but don't have a lot of time to prep. Thanks for the recipe!

Pat's Mushroom Saute

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
I once worked at a restaurant that had the most amazing sauteed mushrooms for an appitizer, and I made this dish and they tasted exactly the same! These are amazing as an app, a side dish, or on top of a steak. Thank you for the recipe!

Frank's Famous Spaghetti Sauce

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
This is a great spaghetti sauce recipe that my whole family enjoys! I sub beef as we are not big ground turkey fans, I use 1 tsp each of basil and oregano, I add a couple of extra cloves of garlic, and I add 3 tbs of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes to add a bit of a kick to it. Thank you for the recipe.

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
This is an amazing recipe that is so quick and easy! I use a little less of the vegetable oil and add some sesame oil to add some flavor. I am not good with the grill so I cook mine on the stove in a skillet until the sauce carmelizes, and then put the fish on top of a bed of rice, pour the extra sauce over it and garnish it with scallions and sesame seeds. My husband and I both adore this dish! Thanks for the recipe.

Fried Chicken with Creamy Gravy

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
My family and I love this recipe! I do make a couple of changes: I sub buttermilk for regular milk when coating the chicken, I sautee 1/2 an onion and 3 cloves of garlic to add to the gravy, and I usually sub half and half for milk in the gravy when I am feeling particularily naughty. A great indulgent comfort food! Thanks for the recipe.

Cheese Sauce

Reviewed: May 8, 2004
This sauce is a great basic cheese sauce that makes my kiddos inhale at least a couple servings of veggies! I sub cheddar as I always have it on hand. I think what some of the other reviewers are missing is after you mix in the milk with the cornstarch, continue cooking it on low heat until it thickens, around 10 minutes. Thanks for the recipe.
