Okra and Tomatoes

Reviewed: Sep. 17, 2011
I make something very similiar but it calls for a cup of corn and instead of the can stewed tomatoes I use a can of Ro*tel, its my hubbys favorite dish so I always try to keep the ingrenients on hand.

Extreme Veggie Scrambled Eggs

Reviewed: Aug. 21, 2011
I leave out the chopped tomatoes and add Jimmy Dean sausage crumbles or any left over ham or smoked sausage I may have and a bit of minced garlic. 1/4 cup of Olive oil does sound like a bit much though,I just add a drizzle to the pan!

I fix my mushrooms the same way BUT i use worchestershire sauce instead of soy sauce. I also sometimes add onions, its really great served with steak or chops.

Cola Onion Pork Chops

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2010
This was a quick easy recipe, but I love pork chops and unfortunately with the onion soup mix they tasted more like beef than pork. The sauce never did thicken either. Oh well tried it once but won't use this recipe again.

Slow Cooker Sweet and Tangy Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2009
Delicious! I used Sweet Baby Rays honey bbq sauce and this really tasted a lot like sweet and sour chicken. I halved the recipe, cooked 3 large breast and it all got eaten.I served it with Rice A Roni chicken flavored rice.My husband mentioned several times how good it was so definitely a keeper. Thanks!

Blueberry Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 19, 2006
Very good, just what I needed to top a cheesecake. I didn't have any orange juice so used some "lite" lemonade, and equal parts of spenda & sugar to lighten the recipe carb wise.

Fried Okra

Reviewed: Aug. 14, 2006
I've been married 39 years and using this recipe I can finally make great fried okra,my husband is so happy! I do use half cornmeal and half flour though, never have a problem with batter coming off and we eat them like chips.
