Chicken Wild Rice Soup

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2011
It was like gravy! Definitely not a "soup" recipe. If you want a thick stew that is literally the consistency of a thick gravy, this is your dish. The leftovers in the fridge the next day were repulsive. A thick layer of fat on the top. I should've known better with all that butter and the addition of flour.

Fluffy Seven-Minute Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2011
This is the best-tasting, easiest 7-minute frosting recipe ever! It's so much less stressful than whipping over a double boiler or on the stove-top. I've used it for cakes, and this year I'm going to make ghost cupcakes with it for Halloween!

Ice Cream Base

Excellent ice cream base for any flavor! Made it with strawberries and also with dark chocolate. Both came out great.

Soft Sugar Cookies I

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
I did not care for these. I bake a lot of cookies, and I love almost all kinds of cookie. I wasted a lot of good ingredients on these. No one in my family would eat them.

Play Dough Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2010
These turned out great for me. And were a great kids' dessert for a recent party we hosted. One tip I have is that I divided each color into 24 balls BEFORE putting them in the freezer. I just tossed them in quart sized ziploc bags. They only needed 30 minutes in the freezer that way, and I took them out 2 or 3 at a time to shape. It sped up the whole process tremendously and none of the dough got warm, soft, or dry from sitting out while I divided it. I also took the advice of another reviewer and dipped the lollipop stick in an egg white/water wash before putting it into the cookie. The cookies stayed on the sticks wonderfully while the kids munched away! I'm uploaded photos of how mine came out as well.
