Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy
I want to give the recipe as it stands 5 stars but I couldn't it make it that way. It went a bit wrong for me when I started making the meat mixture..and I realized I didn't have any eggs left. I read somewhere for meatloaf mixtures that tomato paste can act as a binder sub so I tried that as I had half a can saved from the night before. It may have enhanced the taste but I don't think it did much as a binder. The only thing I will do differently next time is that I will add the broth before the flout when I make the gravy because I ended up with big flour clumps and it didn't thicken properly. I ended up adding a can of golden mushroom soup to thicken and give a nicer consistency. It was still delicious even in spite of those two hiccups and my guy loved it. Oh and I tripled the gravy as I read reviews and seemed like a great idea.

Melinda's Porcupine Meatballs
I actually was kind of disappointed with this. The meatballs were actually perfect- it was the sauce that didn't impress me at all. I found it very bland and missing some zip. I had read one of the reviews before making it and someone had suggested using vinegar in the sauce which I think I will try that next time in hopes it gives it the zing that I felt it lacked. My guy loved it though so I will definitely give it another go.

Slow Cooker Bolognese
Made this exactly to the T- except I ran short on time and didn't have enough cooktime to make in the crockpot- I just did it on the stove top and let it simmer for a while. Delicious!
