Kalua Pig in a Slow Cooker

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
AWESOME! I threw it in frozen, and in the morning I put the liquid smoke and salt on. It was great! I would recommend turning it more than once though, parts of it got dry.

Mediterranean Stuffed Swordfish

Reviewed: May 21, 2012
I love this! I've never had swordfish before. I followed what one other person suggested and baked at 350 for 20 mins. It was wonderful!

Cheesy Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2011
This was great! Everyone in my family cleared their plate. I didn't add the water, and it was good. I don't like soggy meatloaf and thought the water would make it soggy. It was great!

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 19, 2011
We LOVED it! My whole family. The only thing we did differently was I added a cup a water to the chicken while it was cooking and then some mushrooms at the end. We ate it on gluten free pasta. This is a keeper for us! So easy!

Pumpkin Cookies with Penuche Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2010
LOVED IT! Just made them and tasted them, they are so so delicious. My batch made about 36 cookies. I might could have made them a bit smaller though. The Penuche is delicious with the cookie. I thought it might be too sweet, but it was perfect!

Yellow Squash Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2009
I loved it! I modified it just a bit so it would be more Weight Watcher friendly. I used Reduced Fat Ritz Crackers, Weight Watchers Mexican Shredded Cheese, 1 egg and 1 egg white, 1% milk, light butter. It was excellent, my 5 year old and 11 month old ate. PLUS it's only 2 points!

This is awesome! My whole family loved it. I did mine in the slow cooker and once I even did it with just enchilada sauce and it was great!

Kickin' Collard Greens

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
This was the BEST! I have four kids and a husband who won't hardly eat anything green. They all took one bite and said it was delicious. My husband asked for seconds. I omitted the pepper flakes because it would too spicy for my kids. And I didn't have bacon so I used salt pork, which is close to the same thing. Other than those two things I followed the recipe and it was great!

Fettuccine Alfredo V

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
Absolutly the best! I'm not a big alfredo fan, but this recipe changed my mind. I did add Tuna so there was some protein. We loved it...even my 3 and 4 year olds loved it.

Butter Chickpea Curry

Reviewed: Sep. 29, 2008
This recipe is awesome! The only things I changed, was I added cooked chicken, and instead of heavy cream I used coconut milk. Very good, even my 4 and 2 year old ate it!

Slow Cooker Spicy Black-Eyed Peas

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2013
This was good, I wish I would have been able to follow the recipe more, but I didn't have everything. I omitted the jalapeno because it would have been to spicy for my kids, I add diced chilies instead. Didn't have ham so I added salt pork. It made the house smell great and everyone loved it. All my kids and husband ate them. This is a keeper!

Chocolate Pudding Fudge Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2006
The Best and EASIEST cake I've ever made. However if you use a rubbermaid bundt cake pan, let it cool longer than 10 minutes in the pan. Otherwise it falls apart.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2009
Very good, and very easy. I was skeptical about the italian dressing, but it ended up being great. I made this with chicken the first time and pork the second. Both were great!

Easy Slow Cooker Meatballs

Reviewed: Aug. 28, 2011
My family really liked this. I made the meat balls before hand and frozen them for a couple of days. Just because I knew the day I was going to make them I wouldn't have time to shape them. So on the day I made them I just put them in the pot frozen and they turned out great!

Vegetable and Tofu Stir-fry

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
I loved it! Even my kids at it. The tofu kind of broke part, (which was ok since my kids didn't realize what they were eating, but I didn't like that.) The flavor was perfect.

Chunky Potato Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 10, 2011
It was good. I give 5 stars if I don't change anything, but, since I did modify it a bit I'll give it 4 stars. I exchanged swiss cheese for cheddar. And then I added a can of cream corn, makes it really creamy and very good.
