Turtle Cookies II

Reviewed: May 24, 2004
I had the same problem as others with the indentation disappearing when they were baked. Very easy problem to solve by doing what the other reviewer suggested using the back of a measuring spoon to do it again while they were still very hot. My husband loved these. I made half with the nuts and half without. They were good with or without them. I made my own caramel since I didn't have a jar of topping. Recommened for anyone not expecting an everyday cookie.

Becki's Oven Barbecue Chicken

Reviewed: May 24, 2004
I took the other reviewers advice and used garlic powder instead of the onion. Also, I only had soy sauce to use in place of the worcestershire sauce and it was great. I only let it simmer for about 8 minutes because I was getting impatient. I boiled my chicken for about 15 minutes before hand as well. All together it was really great.

Manicotti

Reviewed: May 24, 2004
Although I would like more seasoning and cheeses my kids are extremely picky so this was perfect for them. I filled a large Ziploc bag with the filling, sealed it and cut a hole in the corner just a little smaller than the opening of the shells to fill them. Super easy. This recipe is great because it's very simple and extremely easy to adapt any way you like. My 4 year old only eats pickles, dry tuna and Kix cereal and he asked if he can eat this everyday-need I say more?

Potato Croquettes

Reviewed: May 24, 2004
My family really enjoyed these. I did make a few changes though. I only had parmesan cheese so I made half with parmesan and half with cheddar. I thought they were great either way, my kids liked the ones with cheddar better. Definitely make the potatoes more firm then you normally would so they'll hold together better. I also made them about the size of a half dollar so they would be crispier and served with ketchup and sour cream. Will definitely make these again. Thanks Peter.
