I have been cooking since childhood, when I made many meals for my family. I grow a large kitchen garden and love vegetables. Although not vegetarian, I eat very little meat. I won't cook anything I can't kill. But, I am a gracious guest and will enjoy whatever my host/hostess has prepared.
I teach yoga and run a small non profit social services organization.

My mother studied Chinese cooking with a Chinese neighbor, and I often helped her in the kitchen when she made Chinese feasts. I am so grateful that I learned those techniques and understand the ingredients.
I also make a mean pot roast and kasha varnisches, and sumptuous chicken and kneidlach. (My actual heritage.
