Homemade Black Bean Veggie Burgers

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
Everyone I've fed these to loves them! I chop the pepper, onion and garlic, drain some of the liquid, then add the black beans to the processor. I follow the rest of the recipe exactly. Green chilies make a great topping. Also, this may make some people shake their heads, but I'm not a vegetarian and I love turkey bacon so I usually put two pieces on my burger, yum! I serve sweet potato fries or chips for the side.

Valentino's Pizza Crust

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
I have deviated from this recipe and like it much better. I don't add the sugar, but instead add garlic salt (I never measure it but I probably use about 1 1/2 tablespoons) to the yeast/water/oil mixture before mixing in the flour. I also sprinkle more garlic salt over the crust before adding remaining ingredients.

Ghirardelli Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake Hearts

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
Took this to a chocolate party and won a prize! I didn't separate the batter to mix with raspberry because I didn't want a pink top. Instead, I mixed the chocolate into all of the batter, spread half in the pan, drizzled raspberry sauce over the choclate, added the remaining batter, then more raspberry sauce. I marbled the top by swirling the raspberry sauce with a knife. I kept enough sauce to use as a topping and people like that much better than bites without the extra sauce on top.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 24, 2013
I've made this cheesecake several times now and it turns out perfectly every time! I use oreos for the crust (crush two of the three rows in the package in a food processor, then add 2 tablespoons melted butter). I bake the cheesecake in a waterbath and leave it in the oven until it cools to avoid cracking.
