Quite possibly the best and most forgiving recipe. I would definitely recommend this for beginners to boost their confidence.
I thought for sure that my bread would be flat and hard as my yeast didn't proof the best. My dough did NOT rise in the first hour, so I kneaded it and put it in the bread pans as instructed. I set them in my cold oven and filled a large bowl with hot water and set it under the pans and closed the door. I let them rise AGAIN for another hour - it worked! So, it took an additional 30 minutes than expected but sooo worth it. The bread is moist, fluffy and so delicious! The only adjustment I made was the sugar. I only used 1/4 cup. I will be making this again for sure (with better yeast!) - thanks for sharing! :)
