Honey Whole Wheat Bread

This is a good basic whole wheat bread. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it has a very soft texture, like a store bought bread, and I prefer a bit more density.

Marinade for Chicken

My family loves this marinade! I have been using this for a long time. I can't bring myself to try any other marinade, because this is just so good. For convenience I use dried parsley and bottled lemon juice and it turns out great.

Outrageous Chocolate Chip Cookies

Awesome recipe! No changes needed. I used plain Jif peanut butter at room temperature, and the margarine also at room temp. I had no problems with dry dough. You need to let the cookies cool a couple of minutes to firm up before removing from the cookie sheet. Thanks Joan,for a great recipe! This goes on my favorites list!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Be sure to let the cake cool in the pan for ten minutes as the recipe instructs. I was hurried and didn't read that part of the recipe. I tried to invert it onto a bottle as you usually do with cakes baked in bundt and tube pans, and the cake literally fell out of the pan onto my arm! No problem with sticking in the pan. :o) I served the broken pieces with vanilla ice cream and everyone loved it. Great recipe. I will definitely make it again.

Honey Of An Oatmeal Bread

Awesome bread! I followed the suggestion of Booey4U and changed the serving size to 15 for my Zojirushi. Perfect. I used a basic course and light crust setting. Next time I will use a medium crust setting as it was a little too light. Also added a scant 1/4 c. more flour and 1/4 tsp. additional yeast. Thanks for submitting, Merrilee. This is a definite keeper.

Chicken Marsala

Wow! This was really, really good! Made according to the recipe, except I tripled the mushrooms. GREAT RECIPE! Thanks Lisa. UPDATE: I made this again and unfortunately discovered that the quality of the wine makes a huge difference. I used a lower quality wine and it was not nearly so good. It didn't even seem like the same recipe.

Chicken Noodle Casserole

AWESOME RECIPE LORI! Thanks for submitting. I substituted 1 tsp. poultry seasoning and used shredded colby jack cheese, and black pepper because I didn't have savory, cheddar, or white pepper. Next time I will double the black pepper. I also used the cooked meat from a 3 lb. chicken that I had in the freezer. This may have been a little more chicken than the recipe called for. It filled my 9 x 13 pan to the brim, but did not boil over in the oven. Colorful, appetizing appearance, and TERRIFIC TASTE. This is big time comfort food. I will make it often.

Sunday Best Fruit Salad

Simple preparation,great taste, and very pretty in a glass bowl! The peach pie filling gave a tasty glaze, and the bananas did not discolor, even by the next day. I will add this to my list of favorites.
