Puffed up and looked great. Everyone liked it, but I did not especially care for the mayo flavor.

This was really excellent. I made it with orange roughy because that's what I had on hand. Will definitely use again.

DH thought he didn't like salmon, but he loved this and is asking when we will have it again. The dill sauce is wonderful! A great dish just as written. Quick and easy too. I will definitely make this again.

Walnut Chicken Skillet

Reviewed: Jun. 14, 2008
Really good! Great flavors, and easy to make. I will definitely make this again, but next time I will decrease the oil to 2 tbs. Be sure to watch the walnuts closely while toasting them as they burn easily.

Baked Potato Soup V

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2008
This was good, but not very soupy. More like a very thick chowder, and that's even after I added an extra 1/2 c. milk. I also think it was lacking onion flavor. Adding additional onions to cook right in the soup would probably improve the flavor.

Whole Grain Loaf

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2008
LOVE this bread. I mixed it in the bread machine and baked one round loaf in the oven for 25 minutes. The result was a beautiful loaf of moist, delicious, and healthy bread that DH loved. It takes a bit more time to assemble all of the ingredients, but it's worth it! I will definitely make this again. Thanks for submitting this awesome recipe.

Soft Christmas Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2007
I made these cookies according to the recipe, except that I substituted butter in place of the margarine, and I baked them at 350 degrees. Very good cookie. To keep them soft, take them out of the oven immediately when you see the first tinge of brown around the edges, and roll them a little on the thick side - 1/4" is good.

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2007
FANTASTIC! These are the best bran muffins ever! I used All Bran cereal, applesauce instead of oil, and egg whites instead of one whole egg. Absolutely delicious. This goes on my all-time favorites list.

Nutty Whole Wheat Bread

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
EXCELLENT! This bread worked great in my bread machine. I used bread flour instead of AP flour, and put the liquids, salt and yogurt into the pan first, then added the dry ingredients. The dough was very stiff at first and I added about 1/4 c. of water, (one tablespoon at a time) to get the right slightly sticky consistency. Because bread dough is very sensitive to the temperature and moisture content of the air in the house at the time, it may be necessary to add either water or flour to get the right consistency. The dough should gather up into a ball, but should still be a little sticky. This made a large 2-lb size loaf. It is just the right texture - soft, but not too soft. Great toasted! Thanks for the recipe Rosadene!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2007
Awesome cookies! These are the perfect oatmeal chocolate chip cookie - Wonderful flavor and texture. I usually follow the recipe exactly the first time, but this time I did make the following changes: (1) used 1/2 c. shortening and 1/2 c. butter, (2) used 1 c. AP flour and 1/2 c. WW flour, and (3) used 1-1/2 c. chocolate chips and 1/2 c.chopped walnuts. Next time I will add a tsp. of vanilla. I also tried baking at 350 and 375 degrees. Baking at 350 degrees resulted in a thicker, chewier cookie which I prefer. This is a keeper!

Oatmeal Applesauce Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2007
This bread was just ok. It does not work very well for sandwiches. I had to add a lot of flour and I thought the cinnamon gave it a weird taste. I won't be making this again.

These made a big hit. They taste really great, but they do contain quite a bit of alcohol. It would be easy to overdo it.
