I am a 40 year old wife and mother of two. I put myself through college cooking for other people out of my home. Every day, M-F they would come and get their dinner. After living in NYC for a year and tasting EVERYTHING I could I decided that cooking a wide variety of foods was fun, educational and DELICIOUS! Thus, I have been doing it for over 20 years and I still have a passion for the culinary arts.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook everything from Macaroni and Cheese (homemade, of course) to the most intricate foreign recipe. Italian, Mexican, American, French, Japanese, Korean and Southern are my particular favorite.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My favorite family cooking traditions include MAJOR pie baking for holidays. We always have 8-10 pies MINIMUM for my family's holiday meals. My mother was a fabulous cook and I treasure her recipes and enjoy sharing the results with family and friends.

My cooking triumphs include personal creation of recipes for wonderful marinades, chocolate cheesecake and salad dressings.
My cooking tragedies
Do I have to go there??? We all have tragedies. My first batch of homemade bread was a disaster..... but is fabulous now.
