World's Best Lasagna
This is the best lasagna recipe ever. My extremely hard to please mother LOVES this, and I wow my boyfriend every time when I make this. He actually high fived me the first time he had it. I simmer the sauce as long as possible, usually about four to five hours. There's usually just enough leftover sauce for spaghetti for two, which is also fabulous; I freeze it for the week after. I do find its usually just a little bit better when I add some fresh basil from my garden into the sauce, but other than that I wouldn't modify a thing in this recipe. It is truly a must make!

Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie
Oh my!! I have been making fruit smoothies and protein shakes for almost a year now and this is my new favorite. I used frozen strawberries and bananas and the texture was comparable to ice cream or frozen yogurt. Soo good. I didn't add sugar and only a splash of vanilla, and it was plenty sweet. I usually have one of these after a workout and it fills me up and keeps my energy level up too. The oatmeal adds a really nice texture and flavor as well. My boyfriend, who complains about every healthy meal I make, tried this without me telling him what it was and he's addicted! Make ASAP

German Chocolate Cake III
I followed the cake recipe as is and it was very good, light and moist but rich at the same time. However, I did notice sticking with mine. The first one I tried to take out completely fell apart, which I have never experienced before with my pans. So mine ended up being a two tier cake as I let my other two cakes sit for another half hour and then painstakingly take out. As for the frosting, mine turned out extremely runny and had I had enough time to make more I would've thrown it out altogether. Listen to me and others when I say to bring it to a boil and then let it cool. I followed the directions and did mine on low for a solid 25 minutes and it was still almost unusable. Tasty, but way too runny. All in all, with a few tweaks I will definitely make again, if nothing else than for the awesome chocolate cake recipe.
