Soft Christmas Cookies

These were o.k. They were easy to handle, but the taste was just o.k. They also got hard by the next day, even in an airtight container. Still searching.

Limeade Pie

I agree that this is much too sweet/strong this way. I've been making a similar pie for years, but I add an 8 oz pkg of softened cream cheese. Works just as well with lemonade concentrate also.

This cake tasted great. But neither of my kids finished a piece. Two days later it just sits on the counter. It's very heavy. Too heavy and dense even for a pound cake. And the outside crust is too dark and thick and dry. I baked it exactly as written and for the full amount of time as it wasn't done after 1 hour or 1 hour 10 minutes. I may try it again at 350 for less time.
